Kewaunee, Wisconsin nestles on the shores of Lake Michigan, and the townspeople consider their village \"Wisconsin's Best Kept Secret.\" The town offers distinct seasonal activities including trout and salmon fishing, boating and canoeing and golf in the warm weather months and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and four-wheeling on ATV trails during the snowy season. Tourists can visit the historic Kewaunee courthouse and museums before settling in for the night at one of the many motels, hotels or inns.
A historic lighthouse welcomes guests to the Coho Motel and Suites, where views of Lake Michigan can be seen from some rooms. All rooms at the motel feature contemporary wood furniture with a color palette in blue, brown and cream, reminiscent of the water and shore. All rooms include a refrigerator, coffee and high-speed Internet for guests. Suites include two queen beds and a sleeper sofa with wet bar and microwave.

The Kewaunee Inn, in one form or another, has been a fixture at the lake shore since 1858. The Inn was first a small home, but in 1912 a three-story, 23-room brick structure was built to welcome guests. All rooms contain wood furniture, much of it in the arts and crafts style, with antiques sprinkled throughout the inn. Many of the beds are draped in quilts and all feature high-speed Internet. The Inn restaurant prides itself on a Friday night traditional Wisconsin fish fry.
