Branchport is located in the heart of the Finger lakes region of New York. It is home to the Keuka Lake State Park, a popular destination for cross country skiing, boating, fishing and camping. Private bathrooms are in two rooms, while the others must share a bath. Full breakfast is served every morning. Local eateries are The Valley Inn Restaurant located less than a mile from the inn, and serves burgers and beer in a casual atmosphere. The Antique Inn serves seafood and home-cooked meals and is less than a five-minute drive.

Located seven miles from Branchport, in Pen Yann, the Wagner Estate Bed and Breakfast is a historic home built in the 1700s. The estate is across the street from the Keuka Outlet Trail. Beaches, downtown restaurants and shopping are a 10-minute walk away. Guest rooms are adorned with antiques, country decor and queen-sized pillow-top beds covered in luxurious bedding. Breakfast is served by candlelight each morning. Specialized services include a six-hour chauffeured luxury sedan for two for a guided tour of the wine country. Kayaks and mountain bikes can also be rented. Custom request are accepted, but all special services require a seven-day advance notice.
