Clanton, Alabama is a small town on Interstate 65, about halfway between Birmingham and Montgomery. To the northeast is Talledega National Forest and 10 miles east is Mitchell Lake, making it a great spot for exploring the outdoors. The area has a lot of fruit farms, and it is called the peach capital of the state. A peach park is located at the edge of town.
