White Bird, Idaho, is an old frontier town with outdoor activities, historic spots and festivals. White Bird is near the Oregon and Washington borders, and Nez Perce National Forest. The area offers activities that include hiking, bird watching, fishing, biking and riding all terrain vehicles.

The Banner Ridge Birdhouse is a single house that sleeps eight people and is located on a large cattle ranch. Rooms have double or queen beds. The house has is a kitchen, two bathrooms, a grill and a water well. Hunting is available on the property or in Nez Perce National Forest, approximately four miles away. The forest also offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, bird watching, wildlife watching or rafting on the Selway River. The house also has games a DVD player.
The Canyon House is on the Salmon River, and offers a vacation suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, living area and views of the river. The suite sleeps six people. It has Direct TV and telephone. One room has a king bed and the other has double beds and bunk beds. The Canyon House has fresh food, coffee, espresso and homemade cookies. Rafting is available on the Salmon River. Nez Perce Forest is 20 minutes away by car. On the property, you can hike around the open space or bird watch.
