Disston Plaza is a commercial area featuring a variety of businesses in the western part of the city of St. Petersburg on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The majority of the hotels in the immediate area are located across the Boca Ciega Bay in Treasure Island and St. Pete's Beach. More lodging can be found in St. Petersburg itself.

The Beachcomber Beach Hotel and Resort is four miles from Disston Plaza in St. Pete's Beach. The hotel has a five-and-a-half-acre property located directly along the ocean.
