Hotels near Malott, Washington

Malott is a small town located in the northern part of the state of Washington. It is a remote wilderness area bordered by the Okanogan National Forest to the west and the Colville Indian Reservation to the east. A big reason people pass through Malott is because it is on Route 97, a highway that extends to the north into Canada. The town does not have its own hotel, but lodging is available in larger towns to the north.

    • The Okanogan Inn & Suites provides quick access to Okanogan Valley attractions such as the Loup Loup Ski Bowl and several championship golf courses. Offering views of the Cascade Mountain Range, the hotel consists of 77 rooms and four suites with kitchens. A casino and restaurant and lounge are within walking distance of the hotel, which is approximately 10 miles to the northeast of Malott. Rooms started at $60 in the winter of 2011.

    • Situated 10 miles to the northeast of Malott, the Ponderosa Motor Lodge had rooms listing at $60 a night in January of 2011. Discounts are available for seniors as well as patrons of a local casino. Pets and children stay for free. Some of the rooms have kitchenettes, while a kitchen suite is also available at this family-owned and operated establishment.

    Best Western Plus Peppertree Inn at Omak

    • The Best Western Plus Peppertree Inn at Omak is approximately 15 minutes northeast of Malott. The hotel is two miles from a spa, and five miles from orchards, farmers markets and wineries. The Canadian border is 25 miles away. Rooms in the winter of 2011 were listing as low as $100 a night at this smoke-free hotel. The hotel has a pool and a hot tub. Pets are allowed and guests are served a free breakfast.

    Rodeway Inn & Suites

    • The Rodeway Inn & Suites, approximately 14 miles to the north of Malott, is within walking distance of the grounds for the Omak Stampede as well as the Omak Performing Arts Center and the Omak Stampede. Another local feature is the Omak Trout Hatchery. The hotel promotes its hot breakfast and has an outdoor heated pool. Some of the rooms have whirlpool bathtubs and fireplaces. It is also affordable with rooms starting at $55 a night at the beginning of 2011.
