McAlester is a city in Pittsburg County, southeast Oklahoma. Dubbed the "trade center for Southeastern Oklahoma" on the city's official website, McAlester offers visitors a combination of small-town charm with city-style industry. The McAlester Regional airport is a 10-minute drive south of downtown McAlester, with flights operating to other U.S. destinations.
