Morristown is located in the north of New York State, separated from Ontario, Canada, by the St. Lawrence River. Although not known for its tourism industry, the town is in an area of natural beauty and visitors are well placed to explore the St. Lawrence River and Vanderwhacker Mountain Wild Forest areas. The Canadian city of Ottawa is 70 miles to the north of Morristown.
