The Salmon Street Springs monument, in Portland, Oregon, is located in Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park, just north of the Hawthorne Bridge. Robert Perron Landscape Architects and Planners designed the sculpture and fountain. Salmon Street Springs was dedicated in 1988 but wasn’t named until one year later, following a public naming contest. The fountain cycles 4,924 gallons of water per minute.
