How to Add a Fifth Person at a Disney Value Resort

The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida offers several levels of accommodations for guests. Walt Disney World's four least expensive resorts are All Star Music, All Star Movies, All Star Sports and Pop Century. These are otherwise known as value resorts. A family of four can often stay at a value resort for under $100 per night. Unfortunately, local laws limit the number of people who can stay in each resort room. Here are some ideas for larger families still hoping for value accommodations.

Know the ages of the people in your party. If you have one child under the age of 3, he or she may stay in a value resort room with four adults or older children. Cribs are available from the resort.

    • 2

Book connecting rooms if you have five or more people in your party and they are all over the age of 3. Fire codes prohibit you from all staying in one room. While this could hurt your budget, it's meant to keep you safe. Plus, it will give you double the space. A typical value room is less than 300 square feet.

Make a reservation for a family suite at the All Star Music Resort. They sleep up to six adults, plus a child in a crib. These rooms are 520 square feet and offer two full bathrooms as well as a kitchenette with microwave, sink and small fridge. Rates are comparable to two standard rooms.
