Pottstown, Pennsylvania is a small town approximately 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia. It is located within 20 miles of the King of Prussia Mall as well as Valley Forge National Historical Park and the cities of Reading and Allentown, Pennsylvania. The town was founded in the mid 18th century by John Potts, and his home still stands as a historic site and museum. There are only a few motels and hotels in Pottstown, yet all of them are convenient to the highways and are only minutes from the center of town.
