Pottstown is a city in southeastern Pennsylvania located along the Schuylkill River and approximately 36 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The Swamp Pike Pub primarily attracts a younger crowd. Bands from the local area perform on Friday evenings and selected occasions. This is a casual bar that is open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. Patrons can order bar food, and the beer comes in frosted mugs. Its overbaked pizza is one of the more popular food items. Smoking is allowed. The Swamp Pike Pub has a cover charge only when bands are playing. Other diversions include pool tables, video games, dartboards and a shuffleboard table.

Sportsters Bar & Grille in Pottstown is open seven days a week and has three bars on two floors. Features at Sportsters include 30 flat-screen TVs, outdoor seating and a large parking lot.
