Wind Gap is a small town in Pennsylvania primarily used as a gateway for getting to nearby attractions. Estimated to have a population of just under 3,000 as of 2010, the town has a cozy small-town vibe that is a great place to go to relax. Wind Gap is used as an entry point to the Poconos and is only minutes from the Lehigh Valley, Allentown, Easton, Stroudsburg and New Jersey, according to the town website.
Detzi's was established in 1960 by the Detzi family and is still a family owned and operated business. The bar has a sports theme with photos of local high school athletes adorning the walls next to local heroes and international sports legends. A mainstay to the bar has been the Wednesday night wing night where all wings are 40 cents a piece and a variety of spices and dipping sauces are offered. The menu is designed for those on a budget and features a variety of entrees sandwiches and pizza.
