Maple Creek is a small town five miles south of the Trans-Canada highway. It is 62 miles east of Medicine Hat. The town maintains a number of buildings displaying its heritage, including an old railway station house and a school house. Country festivals are held throughout the year including rodeo and Stock Dog trials. Lodgings in the town are limited, but visitors should be able to find motel accommodation.
