Bradford is a small town in eastern Vermont that is less than a mile from the New Hampshire border. Chartered as a city in 1770, the town has been known as Waitstown, Waits River Town and Mooretown before settling upon its current name. There is little in Bradford in the way of accommodations, but nearby cities contain motels, and bed and breakfasts.
The town of Fairlee is only nine miles south of Bradford. The Fairlee Motel and Drive-in is open year-round, and features a functioning drive-in theater that is open from April until October.
