    • Nightly rates for a room at the resort vary by season, with winter prices at a premium of $260 to $300, in 2010 prices for a stay between December 20 and April 15, That's about $50 higher per night than the summer season's rates. In the winter, suites start at $375 and increase to $665 for a two-bedroom--more than a $60 increase per night from summer.

    Area attractions

    • Rincón packs in plenty of activities, many that revolve around the ocean. Seasonal humpback whale watching is a focus, as are the many water sports that make a splash, including surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving trips to Desecheo Island, wind surfing and wave sailing. Beyond the sea, there's horseback riding, golf courses and nightlife to keep guests entertained.
