The Pan American Pier is located on a small inlet on the southwestern coast of San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is one of the two most-used piers for cruise ships entering and leaving the island. It is the largest hotel in San Juan with 910 rooms, multiple restaurants, a variety of pools and whirlpools, a swim-up bar and grill, and even a bird sanctuary for those looking for some peace or reflection time. The Caribe Hilton offers many activities and amenities for guests including tennis courts, a health club, beach umbrellas, and a private beachfront. Rates start at $143 per night, as of August 2010.
