Kissimmee, Florida's Old Town dates back to 1884 when the one-time trading post was incorporated into what would become a full-fledged tourist oriented city. If you happen to be in town on a Friday or Saturday night you might just think you've landed in some sort of time warp. Highway 192, which runs right through Old Town, turns into an old fashion cruising strip. Classic muscle cars and even older antique models are paraded back and forth through Old Town, just for the fun of it.
Celebration Suites, once known as Suites at Old Town, sits right on Highway 192 and is in the heart of this 1950s themed part of town. Check into your one-bedroom suite and then walk the two blocks to the Windstorm Roller Coaster or the Century Ferris Wheel. Take the little ones on the Dragon Wagon Kiddie Coaster or the Frog Hopper ride. After a busy day on the amusement rides and maybe dining at Flipper's Pizza or a visit to Old Town Ice Cream Company, head back to your hotel for a dip in one of three pools. If a trip to Disney World, Sea World or Universal Studios is on the agenda, Celebration Suites provides complementary transportation to all three parks. Your one-bedroom suite comes complete with kitchenette, enough sleeping space for up to six people and accepts pets with a cleaning deposit.
