A visit to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, conjures up visions of visits to its famous theme parks. Those who love water can also get their feet wet at many of the hotels at the resort. Most of the deluxe and moderately priced Disney hotels have pools, water playgrounds, slides and other aquatic features to entertain kids during an afternoon break or slow morning.
Stormalong is the waterpark at Disney's deluxe Beach Club Resort. The 3-acre park features one of the tallest hotel waterslides at any of the Disney resorts, a lazy river, waterfalls, and a zero-depth kiddie pool. It also has a watery shipwreck play area for kids to explore. The hotel itself is a New England-style resort, with wicker furniture and a surf-and-sand theme.

Located at the Caribbean Beach Resort, the pool at Old Port Royale is designed like a colonial Spanish fortress. It features four waterslides, including an 82-foot long waterslide that goes through the center of the fort; water cannons; a giant splash bucket; and a kids play area. To top it off, Caribbean Beach Resort is one of Walt Disney World's moderately priced resorts, making it an excellent deal for the amount of water activities there. The resort buildings are arrayed around a large lake with rental boats, and the hotel features a limited number of pirate-themed rooms.
