Walt Disney World stretches across 47 square miles of central Florida near Orlando. Disney's Polynesian Resort, like all of the Disney-owned resorts at Walt Disney World, offers complimentary transportation to all of the Disney theme parks, water parks, and Downtown Disney, with a separate bus departing for each destination approximately every 20 minutes. The resort's location just across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom means that you can also take boat transportation to the park, or hop on the monorail from its station on the upper floor of the resort's main building, the Great Ceremonial House. You will find torch-lined pathways lined with tropical flowers leading to the buildings that house the rooms, each named after a different Polynesian island. The resort offers two full-service restaurants, a quick service dining location, in-room dining and a luau dinner show. Staying at this or any other Disney-owned resort also entitles you to extra perks like the ability to charge purchases in the park back to your room and have them shipped back to the resort, and to participate in extra hours that the parks stay open just for resort guests. The resort also offers a sandy beach with hammocks and a view of the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks, a marina with watercraft rentals, scheduled children's activities and an arcade.

The Nickelodeon Suites Resort offers complimentary shuttle transportation to the four Walt Disney World theme parks, as well as to other nearby attractions including Sea World, Universal Studios and Wet 'n'Wild.
