Skykomish, Washington is located approximately 70 miles east of Seattle, near the Snoqualmie National Forest. Skykomish and the surrounding area is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts due to its variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and mountain biking. Visitors to the region have a choice of several area hotels.
The Cascadia Inn first opened in 1922 during a revitalization of the Skykomish area. The Inn is located close to Skykomish Valley activities such as fishing, hiking on Iron Goat Trail, hiking to scenic Bridal Veil falls, snow shoeing in Snoqualmie National Forest, skiing at Stevens Pass or Cascade Power Cats and mountain biking on area trails. The Inn organizes several events during the year including guided snowshoe walks every weekend in February and an annual party on Memorial Day weekend. The Cascadia Cafe and Caboose Room Lounge are located on the premises; both offer a cozy atmosphere and serve a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unwind and escape from the distractions of the modern world. Rooms are simply furnished, in keeping with the hotel's desire to encourage family and friends to interact with one another. To help you reconnect, 11 of the 14 rooms do not have a telephone or television. Nine rooms share a common bathroom facility and five rooms feature a private bathroom.

Stevens Pass Motel is a 23-minute drive, 21 miles northwest of Skykomish in Gold Bar, Washington. The motel is located within walking distance to area taverns, shops, restaurants and gas stations. The motel also is located near attractions such as Deception Falls Nature Trail, Stevens Pass Ski ,and miles of bike paths in Doolittle Park. Rooms have a single queen-sized bed or two queen-sized beds. All rooms feature microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker private bathroom and cable television. A maximum of two pets are permitted; however, the manager must provide approval before you check in. Guests with pets are charged an additional fee per night.

Wallace Falls Lodge is a 28-minute drive, 22.5 miles northwest of Skykomish, in Gold Bar, Washington. This rustic, log-cabin styled Bed and Breakfast is situated near the base of the Cascade Mountains. Put your hiking boots on and head next door to Wallace Falls State Park, which features 1,000 acres of hiking trails, a private lake and picturesque waterfalls. Wallace Falls Lodge features facilities for private functions and weddings; each couple who gets married at Wallace Falls is permitted to carve their names and dates into the "Marriage Log" which is prominently displayed in the lodge. Amenities include fire areas, volleyball court, hot tub and a horseshoe pit. Eat your complimentary breakfast in the lodge's dining room and curl up in front of the fireplace to relax in the evening.
