The Observatory Point Bed and Breakfast is just four miles from Joyce, on the Straight of Juan de Fuca at Observatory Point. This is the closest accommodation to Joyce. Just 15 miles along the coast east of Joyce is the city of Port Angeles, a city of 18,397 as of the 2000 census, and county seat of Clallam County. The Red Lion Hotel dates to 1980, and offers 186 rooms and suites that overlook the city harbor. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness room. All the city's restaurants are within walking distance. The Olympic National Park, a half hour's drive away, offers hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and golf.
The Olympic Lodge in Port Angeles offers 105 guest rooms that underwent complete renovation in 2007. The hotel has a heated pool that is open from April to October and a spa that is open year-round.
