As of 2010, the hotel offered pet-friendly accommodations to small pets only, with prior management approval. As of 2010, the Tropical Shores Beach Resort offered limited pet-friendly rooms with prior approval from the management. The hotel charges a non-refundable pet-fee of $50 and mandates that pets must not be left in the room alone at any time. Tropical Shores Beach Resort features comfortable services and amenities that include high-speed wireless Internet access, an outdoor heated swimming pool and shuffleboard courts. Each of the suites and efficiencies are equipped with beach towels, hairdryers, iPod docking stations and fully equipped kitchens. Televisions, double and queen-size beds and a large refrigerator are also featured in rooms. Local restaurants are less than a five-minute drive from the resort and include the Daiquiri Deck Siesta Key, the Broken Egg and the Siesta Key Oyster Bar. All the restaurants serve a large selection using local fresh seafood and other ingredients.
