The Salem, Massachusetts train station serves the Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority's (MBTA) Newburyport/Rockport Line with direct service to Boston's North Station. Its downtown location allows visitors take to the city by foot. Additionally, five bus lines depart from the station to points throughout the city.
