For large families traveling and vacationing together at Walt Disney World, staying in hotel rooms can be a bit crowded. Typical Disney resort rooms are not large, and getting groups together at restaurants for three meals a day can be a timing nightmare. Disney has offered a solution to these problems by providing resort suites at some sites. These family suites have extra living space plus kitchen areas where you can prepare your own food, avoiding the cost and logistics problems of restaurant meals.
For families on a budget, this resort offers the comfort of a suite at a discount rate. Each family suite has a bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a sleeper sofa, plus a convertible chair and convertible ottoman. There are two bathrooms to accommodate larger groups of people and a mini kitchen for meal preparation. The suites are set up for six guests, and the rack rate is $190 per night in 2010.
