Putnam County is located in the Hudson Valley region of New York.     • The Hudson House River Inn was built in 1832 and has been operating as a hotel ever since. History is abundant at the Hudson House, as it is located on the waterfront of the Hudson River in the antique village of Cold Spring, and is even on the National Register of Historic Places. The Hudson House is home to a pair of highly rated restaurants, and has been awarded the “Wine Spectator Award of Excellence” for their extensive wine list, according to the Hudson House.     Pig Hill Inn

    • The Pig Hill Inn was built in 1825 and offers nine individually decorated rooms furnished with antiques and reproduced period pieces, according to the Pig Hill Inn.
