Hotels in Annsville, New York

Annsville is a town in the northwest area of Oneida County in the state of New York. There are a number of attractions in Annsville and the surrounding area, including the Hudson Valley, West Point Military Museum, Bear Mountain State Park, Fort Montgomery, Peekskill Bay and Rockefeller State Park. Although it is home to just 3,000 people, there is plenty of life in and around Annsville, particularly for those interested in the arts and outdoor pursuits.

  1. Inn on the Hudson

    • Literally overlooking the Hudson River, Inn on the Hudson in nearby Peeksville has been owned and run by the same family for more than 50 years. It was refurbished in 2010 and now offers 53 modern rooms, some of which have private terraces. Continental breakfast is included in the room price and the hotel has its own restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, a wisteria vine-covered gazebo and a computer station. Activities in the area include mountain biking, hiking and river cruises.

    West Point Motel

    • The West Point Motel is a few miles upriver from Annsville and provides 50 guest rooms, each with two queen-size beds and cable television. While the motel is under an hour away from New York City, it is also close to some interesting local attractions, such as the Highland Falls, West Point, the Black Rock Forest, Constitution Island, Central Valley, the Eisenhower Hall Theatre, and Palisades Mall, the second largest mall in the United States.

    The Kittleman House Bed and Breakfast

    • Originally known as 45 Main St, The Kittleman House Bed and Breakfast is a small lodging place with a long history. Based in the small nearby town of Cold Spring, about 12 miles from Annsville, the hotel provides a full breakfast and afternoon refreshments in the sitting room, and its rooms feature antique furniture and paintings by local artists. The Kittleman is only open seasonally, between May 1 and October 31. Cold Spring is known for its coffee houses, live entertainment, tiled promenade and antiques shops.

    • Around 15 minutes’ drive south of Annsville is the Alexander Hamilton House in the heart of Hudson Valley. This bed-and-breakfast is close to Croton-on-Hudson, a popular hangout for artists, and overlooks the Hudson River. Guests can use the outdoor pool, and a full breakfast is included. Each of its rooms is unique, with options including the spacious Bridal Suite, the cozy Yellow Room, the luxurious Master Suite and the multiple-windowed Turret Room.
