How to Send a Package to Myself at Disney World

On your Walt Disney World vacation you might consider sending yourself something through the mail to your Disney World Hotel. Maybe you purchased a new outfit you want to wear to that special dinner that just won't arrive before you depart or just wanted to ship some of your luggage ahead to save on baggage check fees at the airport. Whatever the reason, Disney World Resorts allow guests to receive packages shipped to the hotel with their name. Just follow the guidelines for shipping mail to yourself at a resort to ensure your package safely arrives.

      Visit the post office with the contents of your package. If you don't have a package large enough to pack them you can purchase one at the post office.

      Stand in line at the post office counter and wait for assistance. Provide the postal employee with your package. Make sure your home address is written legibly on the upper left hand side of the package and your name and the address of your Walt Disney World hotel is written legibly in the recipient's area of your package in this format:

      c/o Hotel Name

      Hotel Street Address

      Hotel City, State and Zip Code

      Your Check-In Date

      Pay for cost of your shipment using cash, check or credit card. Make sure you choose a delivery method that will allow for delivery of your package during your stay at the hotel.
