Choteau is a small city located in central Montana in Teton County, approximately 20 miles from the Flathead National Forest. According to the World Sites Atlas, the population of Teton was nearly 1,700 people, as of the 2008 census estimate. Area attractions include the Lewis and Clark National Historic Interpretive Center, the Freezeout Lake Wildlife Management Area and Glacier National Park.
