Jones Beach State Park, known colloquially as Jones Beach, is located in Nassau County, New York. It is a barrier island just off the southern coast of Long Island. With 6 million visitors per year, it is the most visited beach on the East Coast. Because it is in a state park, no accommodations are located directly on Jones Beach, but there are plenty in the surrounding area.
