Atlanta was formed in 1837 with the name Marthasville, according to the City of Atlanta website. The Hilton Atlanta is another option pet-friendly hotel option that is also located 15 minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. (Reference 4) Each room has a limit of two pets with a total of 75 pounds. So, visitors can bring one dog up to 75 pounds or two dogs whose weights together do not total over 75 pounds.
