Key West, Florida, is an island city and the southernmost city in the United States. The city is a destination for cruise ships and tourists because of its island location and balmy weather. The Casa Marina Resort was built in 1920 and is on the southern edge of the island. The resort has more than 1,000 feet of beach reserved for guests of Casa Marina. The Casa Marina resort is listed as a historic site in the National Register for Historic Places.
