Granville Island, located across from downtown Vancouver under the Granville Bridge, has just one hotel. The Granville Island Hotel offers four room types: standard rooms, superior rooms, executive suites and a luxury penthouse. Standard and superior rooms have one king bed or two double beds, a 42-inch plasma television and Bath and Body Works bath amenities. Superior rooms are slightly larger than standard rooms and have a pull-out sofa for additional sleeping space. The one-bedroom executive suites have a king-sized bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed in the separate living room. Suites include two plasma televisions and a large business desk. The luxury penthouse features 1000 square feet of living space with a wraparound balcony, jacuzzi tub and a gas fireplace. As of 2010, rates start at CA$179 per night for a standard king room.

The Dockside Brewing Restaurant at the Granville Island Hotel offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual fine dining atmosphere seven days a week. The restaurant has floor to ceiling windows that look over the water as well as a large patio. The adjacent Dockside Lounge offers a more casual environment with a number of televisions and occasional live music. Dining room menu items include seared wild Pacific Halibut, steak and pasta, and main dish selections range from CA$17 to CA$35. The lounge offers simpler fare, such as sandwiches, pizza and salads. The restaurant and lounge have an extensive wine list and even offer beer from their own on-site brewery, Dockside Brewing Company.

The Granville Island Hotel welcomes wedding parties and is able to provide facilities for everything, from the wedding shower to the post-wedding brunch. Ceremonies and receptions can be performed on site, with customized menus arranged through the Dockside Brewing Restaurant. Blocks of rooms also can be booked at preferred rates for wedding guests.
The Granville Island Hotel has meeting rooms, a fully-wired business center, a fitness room with sauna and jacuzzi, and even offers bicycle rentals.
