Ciales, Puerto Rico is a small community in the mountainous north-central region of the island, just about an hour from San Juan. Popular tourist attractions in Ciales include La Virgen Cave, Las Archillas Cave and Las Golondrina Cave, as well as Los Tres Picachos Forest, a rain forest preserve.
