The Ponderosa Boat Dock Restaurant and Motel is in the southwest part of Kentucky on the shores of Nolin Lake. It has 144 boat slips, including 24 that are covered and have electric and water hook-ups. Each motel room has two beds, a view of Nolin Lake and a small kitchen. Cooking is allowed in the rooms, although you must bring your own utensils. Another attraction is that guests can rent both pontoon and motor boats for water skiing. The Ponderosa Boat Dock also is host to family reunions, group parties and fishing tournaments. Guests can take advantage of specials such as the motel's Hillbilly Luxury Getaway, in which visitors have full use of boats and can ride four-wheelers through the woods.

The Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging is a large motel in the town of Falmouth on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Guests are allowed free use of an on-site beach that has both a boat ramp and dock spaces.
