Cabins Near Holiday Island, Arkansas

Holiday Island is in the Ozark Mountain region of northern Arkansas nestled against the Missouri borderline. The White River snakes through the county and provides guests with summer activities like floating and kayaking. Impoundments on the White River created the 28,370 acre Beaver Lake. Anglers that fish Beaver Lake catch crappie, catfish, and four varieties of bass. Cabins for families, adventurers, or a seclusion-seeking honeymoon couple are found throughout the area's mountain landscape. Eureka Springs is located just over five miles south of Holiday Island. The area between these two towns is where most of the vacation cabins are located.
  1. White River Cabins

    • White River Cabins maintains seven cabins. Three-bedroom, two-bedroom and one-bedroom cabins are available. The cabins have one bathroom each with a shower, and a kitchen with dishes, pots, pans and silverware. The site is on a rise 450 feet above the White River, which can be seen from the property. The managers of the cabins live on-site for guest needs. Nearby activities and amenities include a bait and tackle shop, marina, canoe and boat rental, and swimming area.

    Bear Mountain Log Cabins

    • Six miles southwest of Holiday Island and just two miles south of White River Cabins, these hideaway cabins are designed for relaxation. The property also features stables and a dude ranch. For an extra fee, guests are welcome to take one of the ranch's twelve people-friendly horses for a guided trail ride. The cabins are updated. The honeymoon cabin features a two-person Jacuzzi tub and a stone fireplace. All of Bear Mountain's five cabins have decks or patios, picnic nooks, and full kitchens with complimentary snacks, coffee and tea.

    Enchanted Forest Resort

    • This resort, two miles north of Eureka Springs, has six honeymoon cabins and three family cabins available for rent. Honeymoon cabins have Jacuzzi tubs for two, gas fireplaces, private decks, swings, outdoor grills with picnic tables, and king-size beds. Satellite television and stereo are in each cabin. Family cabins also have romantic master bedrooms and bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, plus extra bedrooms, a living room and a second bathroom. The Onyx Cave is a geological wonder just four miles from the resort, and 30-minute tours are given of the cave.

    Wisteria Lane

    • The Wisteria Lane cabins are on a 40-acre wilderness preserve. The log cabins are rustic on the outside and luxurious on the inside. Each of them is outfitted with full kitchens, king-size beds, fireplaces, satellite TV, heat or air conditioning and whirlpool jetted tubs for two. This facility regularly hosts weddings, and so is also equipped to provide cake and catering services, ministers, decorations and pictures.
