Covering less than a square mile and surrounded by state parks, the town of Tiger in northern Georgia can be found in the Chattahoochee National Forest and along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. The bunkhouse lodge features two bedrooms that sleep up to six, a bunkhouse with eight double beds, four bathrooms, full kitchen and living and dining rooms. For guests who choose the cabin, they can enjoy a queen bed, whirlpool tub, private bathroom, wood stove and full kitchen. On site, guests have access to a pond with paddleboat, grills and a bonfire pit. Nearby activities include whitewater rafting, hiking, fishing, boating and horseback riding.

    • Also located in Tiger, Black Bear Cabins rents a three-bedroom log home set on five wooded acres. The home includes two bathrooms, full kitchen, great room, patio, separate camping cabin and a large covered porch with views of the mountains and a waterfall. The cabin is only minutes from a wide variety of outdoor activities including whitewater rafting, boating on Lake Rabun and Lake Burton, hiking, snow tubing and fishing. In nearby Tiger, guests can enjoy the Tiger Mountain Vineyards, Tiger Drive-In Theater and Tiger Mountain Orchards.

    Tiger Creek Falls Inn

    • With 11 cabins and chalets, Tiger Creek Falls Inn offers plenty of options for cabin rentals in the Tiger area. Each cabin sleeps two to four people, except for the 12-bedroom Mountain Retreat Cabin that sleeps up to 26 people. All of the cabins are set among a wooded mountain setting complete with streams and waterfalls. The property includes a walking trail, kids' playground and fire pit. Along with a plethora of outdoor activities, other nearby attractions include several antique shops and flea markets, gem mining and hot air balloon rides. A variety of restaurants are also in the area, ranging from fast food to casual sit-down establishments.

    Cherry Laurel Creek Cabin

    • Just to the east of Tiger in the North Georgia Mountains, the Cherry Laurel Creek Cabin sits in a rustic setting between two mountain tops. The cabin sleeps up to six in two queen beds and one double bed and comes fully furnished with all linens, full kitchen, fireplace, satellite TV and a two-person whirlpool tub. Several outdoor attractions can be found within minutes of the cabin including waterfalls, trout fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, snow skiing and snow tubing. Guests can also enjoy water sports and boating at the nearby Chattooga River.
