Motels in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania

Centre Hall is famous for the annual Grange Fair, where campers come for one week at the end of August for concerts, rides, food and competitions. Centre Hall is about 13 miles east of State College, home of Penn State University. About seven miles to the east of Centre Hall is Penn's Cave, a 1,500-acre natural habitat for birds, plants and animals such as bears, wolves and bison. Here you can explore the stalagmites and stalactites of an underground cave on a 90-minute boat tour. There are several affordable places to stay within 15 miles of Centre Hall.

    • Whether visiting Penn State or heading to the Grange Fair, the Sleep Inn is blocks from the university and about 15 miles from Centre Hall. For nightlife, the Sleep Inn is less than two miles from College Avenue, where you can find the student bars, restaurants and clubs. Also about two miles away are the Bryce Jordan Center, home to Lion's basketball as well as concerts, and Beaver Stadium, the home of Lion's football.     • Two miles east of the State College city center, Super 8 is on South Atherton Street, about 11 miles from Centre Hall. Located within two miles of the city center, its night life and the sports stadiums, the motel is about 15 miles from Centre Hall, which takes just under 25 minutes. Nearby, you can find breakfast, lunch and dinner at a number of restaurants, including Hoss's Steakhouse and, a little further west, Otto's Pub and Brewery, which crafts its own beer and serves food.     Econo Lodge

    • Econo Lodge is located just outside of Bellefonte, about nine miles northeast of Centre Hall and six miles northwest of State College. Bellefonte claims to be "Central Pennsylvania's Victorian Secret" due to its historic, 19th Century buildings. The area is famous for fly-fishers, as it was named "The best fly-fishing town in Pennsylvania" in 2009 by PaFlyFish.com. You can find a few cafes and restaurants in town, but it may be worth the short drive to the wider choice available in State College.
