Rancho De La Osa, located in the high Sonoran desert outside of Sasabe, is a guest ranch that offers accommodations and a variety of outdoor activities. Founded in 1923, it provides 18 individually designed adobe guestrooms with Mexican antiques and furniture and private porches with views of the mountains. Guests have access to the freshly prepared Southwestern cuisine offered in the historic hacienda dining room or outdoor courtyard. It provides a variety of outdoor activities including horseback riding, hiking and biking. There are also themed weekends such as Cowgirl Camp and Couples Roundup as well as wine tastings and cooking lessons.

The Elkhorn Ranch, north of Sasabe, is a family-owned guest ranch with views of the Baboquivari Mountains and the Altar Valley Desert. Formerly a part of the Otero cattle ranch, it provides private cabins with modern amenities (except television and telephones) for up to 32 guests. Guests also receive freshly prepared buffet-style meals and a weekly outdoor picnic. It provides a variety of activities that include horseback riding on the miles of surrounding desert trails.

It provides 179 upscale guestrooms and 15 luxury suites with private patios or balconies with views of the surrounding mountains and desert.
