It has a population of 117 and is said to have derived its name from the Clear Creek that flows nearby. Community amenities include a library, park and art gallery.     • The Powder River Guest Ranch is a 24,000-acre working cattle ranch situated along the historic Powder River, 20 miles from Clearmont. It is an ideal setting for overnight fishing trips, vacations, family reunions and wedding receptions. The property features a main ranch house, two furnished guest houses and a rustic-style log cabin with a wood stove. Horse boarding facilities are also available. Family-style meals are served in the original ranch home, built in 1918. Other dining options near the ranch include Wolf Den, Winchester Steakhouse, Bozeman Trail Steakhouse and McDonalds.     • Buffalo's Occidental Hotel is at the foot of Big Horn Mountains, 30 miles from Clearmont. Founded in 1880, the hotel offers authentic historic accommodations with modern amenities. Restored antique radios throughout the hotel play music and radio shows from the 20s, 30s and 40s.
