The Chipita Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a four-room lodge located less than two miles off U.S. Highway 24, run by Kevin and Martha Henry. Each room is uniquely decorated in rustic tones, and lodging includes a home-cooked breakfast, access to a communal great room with a sprawling fireplace and evening refreshments. They offer several special packages for lodgers, including a hiker's package, complete with commemorative walking stick, and an anniversary package with complimentary fresh cut flowers. Rooms accommodate a maximum of two adults each.
Stauffer in the Pines is a Chipita Park company run by Bob and Marianne Stauffer, offering two updated rustic cabins for rental. Their Chipita Pines location can room a maximum of five guests. The cabin is outfitted with cable television, gas fireplace, two patios outfitted with a grill and seating, and all linens and dishes. Their Pinewood Inn cabin is a slightly smaller option, with one bedroom and a pull-out couch, and maximum of four guests. Book either cabin for seven days and receive a night free courtesy of the Stauffers. Chipita Lodge also hosts two cabins for rental.
Staying in the city of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado is an excellent alternative if you cannot find lodging in Chipita Park. Kathy Wade's Outlook Lodge sports five different accommodation arrangements, an on-site hot tub and breakfast. If you're interested in a private cabin, Green Mountain Falls Resorts have seven lakefront cabins available with room for between six and 12 guests each. Two are even located next to one another to accommodate larger visiting families.
Another close neighbor of Chipita Park, Cascade, Colorado boasts several lodging options. Eastholme in the Rockies is a bed and breakfast style lodge that is also a registered historic site, with six rooms and two private cabins available for guests. Breakfast, fireplaces, a Jacuzzi and access to a wraparound porch are included with each stay. Lone Duck Campgrounds, also in Cascade, offers five yurts available for rental, and 60 available camping sites, for visitors who are interested in roughing it a bit.
