Myrtle Beach is a popular resort city on the coast of South Carolina. The south side of the Myrtle Beach includes the South Beach area, which has several oceanfront motels. South Ocean Boulevard runs along the beach before turning inland and leading to the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Attractions in the South Beach area include Alligator Adventure, the Myrtle Waves Water Park and Ripley's Aquarium.

Amenities in the 48 rooms include an outdoor heated pool, guest laundry facilities and one free parking spot per room. As with most motels in resort areas, rates depend on time of year as well as room size. In Spring 2010, Twilight Surf listed off-season rates as low as $34 and in-season rooms as high as $100.

The Sea Banks Motor Inn is three blocks from the Oceanfront Viking Motel and has 70 rooms with refrigerators and cable television. Some rooms also have air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens or private balconies. The motel has an outdoor heated pool, sun deck, kiddie pool, guest laundry facilities and free parking. Room rates, as of Spring 2010, range from $26 during the off-season to $96 in season.
