Sandbridge is an unincorporated community located in the southern suburbs of Virginia Beach. The Sandbridge area has five miles of pristine beaches and sand dunes that are popular with boaters, fishermen, sunbathers and swimmers. Sandbridge has plenty of places to stay, but these tend to be resorts and upscale hotels. To find motels you have to drive a few miles to the north in downtown Virginia Beach.
