The Sandbanks Beach Resort has two park locations---one with seven cottages, another with eight luxury cottages. All cottages have color TVs, DVD players, barbecues, microwave ovens and picnic tables. All units have a view of West Lake, and many are right on the lake. Activities at the resort include water skiing, row-boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, camping, hay wagon rides, biking and hiking. Both locations have playgrounds for the younger children. Other activities such as scuba diving, art galleries and horseback riding are nearby.

On Picton Bay, Merland Park Cottages has 13 cottages and three motel units. Spread over three acres, the resort has an in-ground pool, a horse shoe pit, a playground, a bonfire pit and a screened-in fish cleaning area. Boat rentals and docking and fishing charters are also available. The cottage amenities include cable, air conditioning, a barbecue and a fully functioning and equipped kitchen. Nearby activities include the Sandbanks Provincial Park and a nature walk through Long View.
