Cabins on Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is high in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Among the natural wildlife, tranquil waters, and woodlands surrounding Beaver Lake, you will find an area for any type of fishing imaginable in clear water at the north end and dingy water in the south. Throughout Beaver Lake are cabins right on the water or high in the mountains overlooking the scenery.

  1. Ventris Trail's End Resort

    • Along 20 wooded acres, right on the shore of Beaver Lake, is Ventris Trail's End Resort. This resort has cedar log cabins that are fully furnished with the comforts of your own home, equipped with central heat and air, color televisions, full kitchens and baths, as well as living and resting areas. You can take in the scenery by sitting on the wrap-around decks with porch swings and chairs. On the premises you will find a laundry room, soda/snack machines, barbecue grills and picnic tables. Most cabins overlook the lake, and you have the option to select a cabin with or without a Jacuzzi. Off season is until May 14, 2010 and the nightly rates for a two-bedroom cabin for two to four people is $135. Thereafter, the price increases to $150. Other units and rates are available.

    Lake Shore Cabins

    • From Lake Shore Cabins, you can look directly at Beaver Lake from a waterfront cabin or take in the grand view with a mountaintop cabin. You are able to take your own boat to Lake Shore Cabins or rent a fishing boat from a nearby location, Starkey Marina. Starkey Marina also offers pontoon and jet ski rentals. Lake Shore Cabins offers one-story cabins that sleep four, or two-story cabins that sleep up to 10 people. Various packages are offered like the Romantic Escape Package, which includes a two-night stay in a waterfront or mountaintop cabin, one bottle of champagne, sparkling cider or wine and a romantic dinner for two. The total cost for this package including taxes is $415.

    Whispering Hills Cabins

    • Whispering Hills Cabins are secluded and offer a private deck with each cabin. Wildlife is abundant on Beaver Lake, and from these cabins you'll not only see the woodlands, but also the wildlife, such as deer, fox, bobcats, bald eagles and wild native birds. These cabins are about 10 minutes away from Lost Bridge Marina, where you can rent a boat. Whispering Hills Cabins are unique in the fact that every single cabin is decorated differently. From a honeymoon-themed cabin to a country blue cabin, Whispering Hills offers five different-themed cabins. Cedar Bluff is the only cabin offered for eight people. There are two cabins that only sleeps two, and two cabins that sleeps two to four people. Rates start at $145 and a two-night minimum is required on all cabins.
