Whether looking for a romantic getaway, a summer family cabin or a quiet alternative to hotel accommodations, you'll find that a variety of cabins are available throughout the state.
  1. Brown County Cabins

    • Brown County, also known as the Art Colony of the Midwest, is home to Indiana's largest state park. Back to Nature Cabins offer wooded surroundings with close proximity to Brown County, Indiana University and Indianapolis. The three-bedroom Back to Nature and Woodland Retreat cabins accommodate up to eight guests each and are surrounded by acres of forest. Snuggled Inn can host up to 12 guests, and includes four bedrooms with Jacuzzi tubs in two of the private baths. With easy access to Lake Monroe, the two-bedroom Lake House is ideal for six guests. Nearby activities include horseback riding, boating, fishing, hiking and biking.

    Floating Cabins

    • Southern Indiana hosts the state's first floating cabins. Located on Patoka Lake, Indiana's second largest lake, floating cabins have a prime lake access and are available with two or three bedrooms. Floating cabins include a fully-equipped kitchen, heat and air conditioning, a full bath, a private boat slip and a deck with a gas grill. Other facilities at Patoka Lake Marina include a laundromat, restaurant, meeting room, convenience stores, gas station and lake tours. Boat rentals are available.

    Lena Park

    • Less than two hours from Chicago, Illinois in northern Indiana, Lena Park offers a hand-hewn cabin on the edge of 80 acres of native oak woodland, where ferns, wild blueberries and huckleberries grow. This one-family cabin includes a loft bedroom, full kitchen, bath facilities with a garden tub, a great room and a fire pit. The roofed front porch and large back deck offer views of the wildlife, which include deer, wild turkeys, butterflies, treefrogs, lizards and a variety of birds.
