Loudonville, Ohio Cabins

Cabins in Loudonville offer visitors seclusion and peace for relaxing vacations. However, all are close to the area's many attractions if one wishes to venture out. Mohican State Park, a popular attraction, offers a covered bridge crossing a creek. Malabar Farm State Park is a site that pioneered farming practices many years ago, some of which are still used today. Other attractions in Loudonville include Biblewalk--Ohio's only life-size wax museum--filled with characters from the Bible, Amish-country, farms, fairs and festivals.

  1. Kandelight Kabins

    • Offering three cabins on a private, 35-acre property, Kandelight allows guests to "rough-it in style." Each of the cabins offers outdoor hot tubs, fully-equipped kitchens, fire rings and bathrooms with walk-in showers.

The Log Cabin is the newest cabin offered as of 2010. Boasting a winding stairway to the loft, a stone fireplace and a 2-person jacuzzi tub, guests can unwind at the cabin on top of a hill. The bedroom offers a queen bed, and the loft offers a futon. There is also a fold-out couch for additional sleeping.

The Cedar Cottage is decorated inside more like a home instead of a cabin. Boasting two bedrooms and two baths, small groups are comfortable in the cozy home-like setting. The cottage is secluded in pine trees, but has convenient access to the road.

Sleeping accommodations are for six, although the size of the Rustic Chalet is more suited to two or four people. Originally designed as a vacation home in the 1960's, the chalet has wonderful views all around. In the bathroom, a single-person whirlpool offers views out a window, and the hot tub on the deck provides views of the valley.
