The Grand Avenue Inn & Cottages is the only accommodation available in Leakesville. The inn offers just two rooms in the main house and three small cottages, each of which has two queen-sized beds and a private bathroom, and is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, cable television, coffee pots and free wireless Internet. The inn no longer offers breakfasts, and there is just a Subway and a coffee shop in town, so come prepared.
There is a Holiday Inn Express, in Lucedale, about 20 miles to the south of Leakesville along Route 63. The hotel has 73 rooms, 32 of which have just the one queen-size bed, and a further 16 suites. There's plenty of parking, an outside pool and a fitness center that you can make use of. All of the guest rooms and many of the public areas of the hotel have wireless Internet access. The rooms come with a complimentary continental breakfast and newspaper, and are equipped with color TV and premium cable, a microwave oven, a small refrigerator and a coffeemaker. Ask about whirlpool tubs and connecting rooms if you need them.
The Centennial Inn is located at Richton, Mississippi, nearly 30 miles to the northwest of Leakesville along Route 63. The amenities in the rooms here appear to be fairly basic. For example, there is a community kitchen and a laundry facility on the site but the guest rooms do come with a television, and all of the 16 rooms have a private bathroom. Nearby attractions include the nine-hole Rolling Hills Golf Course and Lake Perry some 12 miles away, which offers fishing and boating.
The Colonial Inn Motel is a small family-owned and run motel located some 15 miles to the east of Leakesville in Citronelle, Alabama. The motel is located on Highway 45 just three miles south of the town center. Local calls are free and there's lots of parking. All rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, cable television, free wireless Internet and individual air conditioning. There are several good restaurants and shopping malls in Citronelle.
