This bus tour operates north of Copenhagen and features a number of major tourist stops, including Kronburg Castle, famous as the castle of Shakespeare's Hamlet, Fredensborg Castle, which houses the Danish royal family during the summer months, and Frederiksborg Castle, which doubles as a national history museum. In between these stops are spectacular views of northern rural Denmark all the way to the coastline. This trip runs February to April and October to December.
European touring company Archer's Direct also offers a number of coach tours of Denmark. The tours all include experienced guides, and while most start off in Copenhagen, they soon make their way through more rural areas, such as Jutland, Aalborg and Odense. The tours offer multilingual service as well as packages that include hotel accommodations.
Vikingbus operates subsidiary tour companies Copenhagen Excursions and Paaske Bus. This network of buses offers a number of tours that operate not only in mainland Denmark, but also out in the island of Funen and The Faroe Islands, which make up the greater Kingdom of Denmark, and feature subarctic climates with a landscape dominated by sea birds and shrubs. Vikingbus tours are available year round and can be joined through one of the subsidiaries, or chartered before arrival in Denmark as a personalized group tour. Approximately 80 percent of VikingBus's business is chartered touring.

This tour, provided by 5 Stars Scandinavia, provides a tour through much of Scandinavia, touching on many medieval sites.
