The Mountaindale Cabins and RV Resort is in southern Colorado Springs, approximately 25 minutes south of the city's downtown area. This cabin resort is within five minutes of Beaver Creek State Wildlife Area, a 380-acre park that offers opportunities for nature walks and birding activities. The resort features the Getaway Cabin, a small cabin that caters to couples seeking a weekend retreat. This cabin is secluded from the other cabins in the resort. Cabin features include a kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom front porch and loft area. Outdoor amenities include a fire pit and picnic table. The resort has 45 forested acres with walking paths, which offers couples a chance to have a peaceful outing.
Located in western Colorado Springs, the Timber Lodge cabin resort is a 20-minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs. The resort is also a 15-minute drive from the Garden of the Gods Park, a recreation area with hiking trails, rock formations and opportunities to see dinosaur fossils in the park's visitors center. This four-acre resort features 24 cabins, many of them offering a romantic view of Fountain Creek, a stream that passes through the property. Of the 24 cabins, six of the cabins are intimate one-bedroom cabins; these six cabins are secluded from the other cabins.
A three-night minimum stay is required for the six one-bedroom, secluded cabins. Most of the one-bedroom cabins have fully furnished kitchens, while the one-room cabins have kitchenettes. An outdoor swimming pool is available at the resort from May through September.

This resort is a 25-minute drive from hiking and climbing opportunities in Hurricane Canyon. Shopping and dining options in Manitou Springs town center is a 10-minute drive from the resort. El Colorado Lodge features a cabin, Cabin 22, that can be used by honeymooners, since it has only one bedroom. The cabin has a fully furnished kitchen, living room with fireplace and dining area. This small cabin -- at 410 square feet -- has Southwest adobe-style decor and is secluded from the other cabins in the resort; the cabin offers scenic views of the Rocky Mountains. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool tub and an outside pavilion; the pavilion hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions.
